The By Ruthie concept was conceived when I first suffered from Alopecia Areata, a common balding hair condition among women. Just like anyone else, I tried to cover up my balding section with hairstyles but guess what? It only got worse!

The frustration and fear was so real and raw that I decided to use any product my hands could land on. It definitely didn't work. Through my research and interactions with a well-known Professor in Botany, I decided to create the Aloe Vera hair oil. \2 months down the line my hair grew back and I can't tell you what a relief it was. Just like that, this beautiful brand was born.
